Sitting in the heart of the pretty village of Ayton, this spacious period house provides everything you need for a romantic and relaxing getaway in the Scottish Borders. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and welcoming two four-legged friends, it’s a great accommodation option for two couples or a small family who want to enjoy their precious leisure time with their pups by their side. And with an enclosed garden for your dogs to explore and a roaring wood burner for them to stretch out in front of, you can rest assured that tails will be wagging.
Step inside this wonderful period house and you’ll be met by a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner. Cook up a romantic feast in the stylish bespoke kitchen area and dine with your loved ones in the intimate dining area, which features a beautiful stone fireplace and lovely views over the front garden. Or, if the weather is nice, dine alfresco in the front garden as your pups enjoy pottering around the enclosed space. After dinner, head up to the first floor where you can enjoy a game of pool or cosy up with a movie in front of the roaring wood burner in the spacious lounge area. At the end of the evening, retire to one of two stylish bedrooms on this floor for a glorious night’s rest.
The lovely Eyemouth Beach (2.9 miles) is totally dog-friendly, so feel free to let your pups explore - keep your eyes peeled for the seals that like to play in the bay. Pups are also welcome to walk around the ramparts at Berwick Castle (12.5 miles), which surround the whole town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. There are also plenty of pet-friendly pubs in the town to enjoy a pint in with your pups after your walk.
