The seaside towns of Ryde (4.5 miles) and Sandown (3.5 miles) offer traditional seaside fayre, but it’s the miles of footpaths, from the coast to the downs, that make the Isle of Wight a memorable day for you and your four-legged friend. Particular doggy favourites are the sand dunes around St Helens Duver (1 mile) and Compton Bay and Brook beach (20 miles). Take the path to the Needles Headland (20 miles) and enjoy the spectacular, ocean views.
