Located midway between the pretty towns of Buxton and Bakewell, this traditional stone cottage is ideally placed for enjoying the many picturesque walks on the doorstep. Sleeping up to four guests thanks to a pull-out bed in the single bedroom, it’s a fantastic countryside bolthole for small families. On arrival you’ll find a doggy welcome pack and guide, to ensure even the furriest of friends feels at home.
Packed with original charm but filled with contemporary comforts, the cottage is a welcome spot in which to relax and unwind. Light the wood burner on a cold winter evening and snuggle up on the plush sofa, with Fido curled up at your feet. Enjoy your favourite TV show or watch one of the DVDs the owners have kindly provided - perfect for a family night in. Head up the open metal staircase to the bedrooms on the first floor; one king-size and one single. Take your morning coffee outside and bask in the warm sunshine and fresh country air from the split-level courtyard. A picnic bench makes the lower level an idyllic spot for an al fresco breakfast, while your canine pal stretches his or her legs on the upper level.
