Boasting great views over Brixham from fantastic living spaces both inside and out, this house is the perfect base for your eagerly anticipated trip to the Devon coast with friends or family.

Drop the bags in the spacious hallway, complete with built-in cloakroom for coats and shoes, before heading straight into the main living area to enjoy the panoramic valley views. Flooded with light from the many windows, the airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is ideal for entertaining, with room for everyone around the dining table and great extra touches like a digital music streamer and a wine cooler. If the weather is good, open the French doors and fire up the BBQ for a laid-back dinner on the furnished patio while the dogs enjoy a sniff around the lawns or a spot of basking in the sunshine. On colder evenings, light the open fire and pile onto the corner sofa to watch a film or get competitive over some board games, before retiring to bed in the stylish bedrooms.

The house is half a mile from the town centre and harbour, and 1.5 miles from sandy St Mary’s Bay Beach. Take a stroll along the coast path from St Mary’s, 2 miles to Berry Head and see the lighthouse which oddly enough is both the shortest and the highest lighthouse in Britain. If you’re feeling energetic, carry on round the headland about 1.5 miles back to Brixham, where you’ll certainly have earned a cream tea or your favourite ice cream.

  • American style barrel BBQ and slow smoker which is located in the enclosed rear garden
  • Brixham is a beautiful harbourside town nestling on the edge of the beautiful English Riviera so access to some parts of the village will have to accessed by steps and hills. Alternatively, there is a public car park located in the heart of Brixham if you wish to drive to and from the harbour.
  • Please note that residual bin collection will usually be collected every other Thursday, more information is in the arrival details and welcome folder
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We had a lovely stay at Wedgewood. Was a bit worried that the beds were going to be a problem after the reviews from June and July, but actually found them okay. A few maintenance issues, which we made the owners aware off, but generally a lovely property and great location. Lovely house and great space inside. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, welcoming living areas and bedrooms. Grass hasnt been cut for weeks and stopped us spending much time in the garden. Information folder needs updating regarding bin collections. Overall lovely place to stay!

House in good location but steep hill on return. Living room, Dining room and shower good, other areas need a bit of care and attention, mattresses poor did not sleep well. Dishwasher needs fixed, Hoover not working, no suction . Welcome pack could have been better. Not all the cooker rings worked. Other parts of the house need some love. This house is absolutely beautiful. It was big enough for a group of 8 adults and dogs! The views are spectacular and we really enjoyed the outdoor area. Bedrooms were lovely and big with comfy beds! The house was clean and modern with plenty of light. The drive was big enough to fit 3 cars. The only thing I will say is that the area of the house iRead mores very hilly, so if you find it difficult to walk, you will need to drive/get taxis to and from the center of town. We had an excellent time here. The house was great for our family (8 of us) for the New Year break. It's not too far of a walk into town with the usual amenities close by. In fact, we're thinking of booking it again for next year.

Great place, nice and clean and very well equipped. The house is all on one level with a large open plan kitchen/dinning area. This was perfect for our family over the Christmas period. Lovely spacious bungalow. Plenty of crockery,cutlery etc, very clean. The garden was great, all enclosed and ideal for two young children and two dogs! Was a little confused by the description though as it said a downstairs bathroom and bedroom, only to find, when we got there it is all on one level! Very close to Brixham,only a 10\15 minute walk bRead moreut as the bungalow is situated on a very steep hill, the walk back may be difficult for some people. We had a lovely holiday . The house is only a short walk from the harbour . The lounge and kitchen area is great the large windows let so much light in .The settee was comfortable and looks very impressive in the lounge .The decor was nice and modern . We loved the sage smart toaster and kettle .the dishwasher and washing machine were new and easy Read moreto use . The same goes with oven and microwave . This is a wonderful, well equipped property and we had an excellent time there. Great view, and an excellent location. 5 minutes drive away there's a superb farm shop, and you're only a 15 minute walk or 3-minute drive to Brixham town centre or to Coves. A lovely, spacious, comfortable and well kitted out bungalow. There are a few steps down to the wonderful outside seating area which may be tricky for less able guests. Located in a quiet residential area, it is ideal for visiting the harbour, marina, parks and coves in Brixham as well as the neighbouring towns.

Lovely place , comfy beds , lovely shower and bath . Kitchen has all the appliances and it was great to sit all 7 of us round a big table . In the evening there is a cozy real fire and music system . We didn't put the TV on once . Great walk round Brixham. Great time had by all. Thank you
