Located in Askrigg, the village used to film the popular TV programme ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, waggy-tailed pals of all sizes will adore spending time at this five-star retreat. Boasting ample space for up to two dogs and six of their favourite people, you can all lap up the beautiful décor, sumptuous furnishings and thoughtful details that feature throughout. And, if the interiors, south-facing garden and countryside views weren’t enough to tempt you, then the superb location and access to walkies galore certainly will!
Pad into your home-from-home and make yourselves comfortable. For those ready to put their paws up straight away, the cosy lounge with its own wood burner will be impossible to resist. Curl up with a book as your pups doze at your feet and wriggle deep into the cushions, feeling yourself unwind. Elsewhere, the spectacular open-plan kitchen/diner is the ideal spot for socialising. Mingle over a bottle of wine and treats as pans bubble on the stove and in the warmer months, open up the patio doors to let the sweet summer air drift in. Completing the picture inside are two bathrooms and three divine bedrooms, whilst outside the enclosed garden will lend an extra sense of security as your dogs stroll in and out.
In an envy-inducing position within the magical Yorkshire Dales National Park, there will be no shortage of adventures from this delightful property. Within the village itself, you can make use of the local tearoom, dog-friendly pub and shop (all well within 0.5 miles) while further afield a trip to the Wensleydale Creamery (6 miles) is a must for all cheese fans. To burn off your energy and earn that extra slice, the national park has innumerable walks, although the James Herriot Way and Ingleton Waterfalls Trail are particular favourites.
