The first floor has two cosy double bedrooms which look out across the bay, and on a clear day you can even glimpse as far as Orkney. Stepping outside, there's a charming enclosed garden.
There are miles of stunning walks to enjoy in this wonderful part of Scotland. From the nearby harbour in Scrabster (6.5 miles) you can catch a ferry to visit the Orkney Islands. Staying on the mainland you and your four-legged friend can explore the famous John O'Groats (15.5 miles), the Castle and Gardens of Mey (10 miles) and RSPB Dunnet Head (9 miles) which is home to puffins, razorbills and kittiwakes. The area also has a number of thriving towns and villages, with a variety of dog-friendly places to eat and drink. Within easy reach are Thurso (4.5 miles), Wick (17 miles) and the historic village of Castletown (1.5 miles).
