Your rural retreat is perfect for up to nine humans and two dogs, so grab a glass of wine and snuggle up by the fire with treats galore.

Elegant and comfortable throughout, your entire party will feel right at home, especially the four-legged members. A large drying room and a specialised doggy room complete with a sink will take care of mucky mutts, and the addition of a utility room, laundry room and daily housekeeping means you don’t have to worry about muddy paws ruining the relaxed vibe. The fabulous country-cottage kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm; light the drawing-room fire whilst you tuck into a meal fit for the entire pack in the dining room. There are five bedrooms to choose from, all sharing a variety of washing facilities including two generous bathrooms. Outside, a burn trickles through the garden and wild birds flit through the trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere for sipping tea and tucking into cake.

Glacial lochs and pockets of woodland teeming with wildlife are yours to explore, so let Rover take the lead and discover something different every day. This was probably the best house we have stayed in over the last 20 years. It is in a perfect Highland location with stunning scenery and easy access to the North Coast. The house is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The staff we met were very welcoming and helpful. We were lucky as we left before the midges really came out but the housRead moree is equipped with midge busters for later in the season. The house is set up for fishing and hunting with a large boot room and dedicated dog room. Hide
