Superb location with many interesting places to visit within easy reach. Lovely walks on the estate which in itself was quite unique. Very friendly and warm welcome from the host and staff. Only downside was the lack of comfortable seating and the property was in shade all day. The stone floors downstairs and stone staircase could be a problem for Read moresome but the fourposter bed in the main bedroom was brilliant. Hide

The Larder is a great cottage ideal for exploring the Tweed Valley - mountain biking, horse riding, walking, fishing. The Glen Estate is a stunning location. Had a lovely meal in The Traquair Arms Hotel in Innerleithen.

We loved our stay at The Larder. It is set in beautiful grounds, with wonderful walks and trails, which guests can use. We lit the wood burning stove, using the wood supplied by the estate which is grown and felled there and had the cottage to a very good temperature. Nothing was too much trouble and a few lovely touches such as flowers, tray with Read morebiscuits and milk on arrival. We will definitely return. Thank you. Hide
