The cosy retreat is all on the ground floor and has neutral tones and modern decor throughout, and a sociable open-plan living space for spending your evenings together planning the next day’s activities. Kick back on the sofa and catch up on your favourite Netflix series, rustle up tasty dinners in the kitchen and enjoy them at the dining table with space for four if you’re entertaining. After a hot shower, enjoy a great nights’ sleep in the twin bedroom where you’ll find plenty of space to unpack your holiday gear. Take your morning coffee or evening tipple outside to the bench to soak up your surroundings; there’s also a drying shed for wet coats and boots, perfect for the Scottish weather!

Get out and explore the Highlands on foot with your furry friend or on a mountain bike, there are numerous footpaths and trails to discover with stunning views across the loch. Small but immaculate. Great location to step out of the front door and walk into the woodland walks. Claire the housekeeper was incredibly helpful for anything we needed. Bit of a drive into town so too far to walk to any pubs. But this place is such good value for money youll not miss it

We had a wonderful week on the Fassfern Estate. The cottage was clean and the Kitchen had everything we needed. The showroom was very good and the lounge comfortable. It's a good base to explore Arisaig, Morar and Mallaig, Urquhart Castle and Fort Augustus. A beautiful circular drive round to Strontian is on the doorstep and definitely worth a visiRead moret. It's such a beautiful area and we will definitely return again. Hide

A lovely cottage that we were lucky to get as a last minute booking. Very well equipped, clean and well-presented. Really close to the forestry so ideal for dogs. Ideal for Munro and Corbett bagging from the doorstep. Easy drive to everywhere else we wanted to go.

Lovely cottage, beautifully presented and well equipped. Great hill walks in the area and good bus service to towns & villages. I wouldnt recommend it for dogs though as no enclosed garden and lots of ticks!
