Sleeping 14 guests and three canine companions, it’s the perfect place for large get-togethers with friends and family. The lodge has vast grounds to explore with your dogs, as well as golf and tennis facilities. The adventure hotspot of Aviemore is just 16 miles away.
The lodge oozes elegance and grandeur and has luxurious touches throughout. The impressive entrance hall welcomes you with a cosy wood burner and has a boot/drying room to store dog-walking gear. Spend quality time together in the lounge, sharing stories in the glow of the open fire with the hounds curled at your feet, or dine together in the striking dining room which has a table to seat everyone. The contemporary kitchen is a joy to cook in and has a breakfast bar for informal dining. The property has seven bedrooms across the ground and first floor: a king-size and six super-king-sizes, which can be made up as twins on request. Five of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and there is a family bathroom. Outside, you and the pups can walk around the extensive grounds, before returning to your private garden for an al fresco breakfast. Guests are welcome to use the golf and tennis facilities, and there is a bothy within the grounds which sleeps an additional two guests if needed.
If you can tear yourself away, the town of Kingussie (2.5 miles) is worth exploring. Potter around the arts and crafts shops, before dining in one of the paw-friendly eateries or strolling along the banks of the River Spey. Adrenaline-seekers can try a whole host of outdoor activities and snow sports in Aviemore. It’s also home to the woof-friendly Strathspey Steam Railway.
