This splendid rural retreat within a family-run estate welcomes dog-owning group gatherings and special celebrations, offering luxurious styling, outstanding leisure facilities and breathtaking views of the sea and mountains.

As you enter, leave coats and shoes in the boot room, a handy spot to wipe down paws. Enjoy sociable evenings in the drawing room, with a bar and a wood burner that’s sure to be popular with furry friends. The living room offers a light-filled space with large windows and comfortable seating for movie nights. Dine elegantly in the dining room, which seats all guests comfortably. The kitchen is a social hub with a large wooden table and charming window seats. There’s also a utility room, a shower room and an en-suite twin room on the ground floor. Upstairs, the three super king-size en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated, while the two bunk bedrooms have either an en-suite shower room or share the family bathroom. A separate staircase leads to a king-size room with an en-suite shower room. Outside, the games barn is filled with amusements and has a TV and wood burner. Host snooker tournaments, play table football and table tennis, or try your luck at the roulette wheel. The barn has a bathroom and kitchen area, making it perfect for parties. Alternatively, play a match on the tennis courts, or there’s a 2.5-mile stretch of salmon fishing on the river available by estate arrangement. There are two patios with sea and farmland views, and the expansive lawn is perfect for garden games with Fido.

Situated 0.5 miles from Strathcarron village, the house is surrounded by open countryside and farmland, with rural walks beginning on your doorstep. Hiking enthusiasts can tackle Beinn Liath Mhor (6.5 miles) or Sgorr Ruadh to revel in panoramic views of the Torridon mountains and the Highlands. Take the lead, explore Attadale Gardens (3 miles), and savour a picnic while watching Highland Cattle graze. Further afield, discover the charming Highland villages of Plockton (15 miles) and Shieldaig (19 miles).

The lodge was warm, clean and well appointed. We loved the big bedrooms, lovely bathrooms and masses of hot water. With two very small babies it was ideal for all three generations.

What an incredible home for our family to enjoy - we had such a lovely week, the weather was glorious and the setting was breathtaking..every day it brought such joy to just soak up the sounds and sights around us.
