For a Highlands holiday to remember, stay at this ornately decorated holiday home with space for up to 20 guests. It’s surrounded by 19,000 acres of rugged moors, hills, lochs, and woodland, all ripe for exploration with your four-legged friends. Dogs are accommodated in the adjacent kennels, which can be heated to ensure they feel cosy. With plenty of social and serene outside space, this is the perfect base for a large gathering of friends and family celebrating something special.

Brimming with period charm, the lodge has a classic Scottish decor featuring warm fabrics, open fires, and carved wooden furnishings. Stags’ heads mounted on the walls, pretty chandeliers and elegant wood panelling all contribute to the charming traditional ambience. There are ample spots for sinking into plush sofas, a wow-factor central staircase and a commercial-standard kitchen for prepping those large group meals. All bedrooms are decorated in a regal style, with your comfort and convenience ensured thanks to en-suite bathroom in every one. Outside, the south-facing courtyard offers a fantastic spot for evening drinks with views over the majestic Highland hills with your pets by your side, drunk on fresh air.

You’ll be 0.5 miles from the serene Loch Morie where you can go walking or cycling in the serene setting, or fish for wild brown trout and salmon. When it’s time to go back into civilisation, the town of Alness (13 miles) has plenty of shops, pubs, a leisure centre, and supermarkets. The walk up to the Fyrish Monument (11.5 miles) is highly recommended – this 4-mile round route through pretty woodland is sure to get the bark of approval from your pets.

This is a wonderful place to gather family or friends for a break. Plenty to do through the days if you enjoy the outdoors, fishing, walking, wild swimming etc The lodge is spectacular, set in a fantastic area, with lovely period finishes in each of the rooms. We absolutely loved meall Mor lodge, we also as part of our group hired. May cottage, The beds were soo comfy, the house was really warm and the water was lovely and hot, We walked a couple of hills, explored the grounds, toke out the row boat and played some outdoor games We loved the amazingly equipped games room too. We had an exceptional time at Kildermorie Estate celebrating mum's 70th Birthday with all the family. We would highly recommend Meall Mor Lodge for any celebration. The lodge was spotless and furnishings very well maintained. The grounds facilitate many activities and never ending exploring, the dogs also had a fantastic time. We stayed at Meall Mor Lodge for my fathers 80th Birthday in July 2022. The house is wonderful and very well equipped. The housekeepers were extremely helpful and the house was immaculate when we arrived and it was cleaned every day to a very high standard. A beautiful setting at an amazing location equipped with a host of amenities in and around the cottage. Highly recommended. The only drawback for some could be the road within the estate - rocky track road.
