This fully self contained cottage is located on the grounds of Dell House, a Highland estate that's popular with fishing and shooting parties. Step inside the property and you'll find a kitchen, dining room and a cosy sitting room with a roaring open fire, or watch some TV or catch up on some long overdue reading – it's the perfect place for your pup to enjoy a peaceful nap after a day exploring the Scottish countryside. Prepare stunning meals in the compact kitchen, you can try out that recipe you've been meaning to perfect for ages. The local food is amazing, so why not experiment with some haggis or square sausages? Step outside and you'll find yourself surrounded by picture-postcard Highland landscapes. At the end of the day, head to the local dog-friendly pub for a pint (1.5 miles) before retiring to one of the cottage's two welcoming bedrooms.
Take your pup for a stroll at the magnificent Falls of Foyers (4 miles), a 165-feet-high waterfall on the River Foyers that feeds into Loch Ness. There's also a cosy café there that welcomes four-legged friends – and it's said to serve one of the best fish suppers in Scotland! Alternatively, take a walk up to Suidhe Viewpoint (4.5 miles). At 1,200 feet, this the perfect place to enjoy some unspoiled views on the less travelled road on the south side of Loch Ness. Enjoy a trip to Inverness with its wonderful Fort George and spectacular waterfront. Alternatively, take boat trip on the loch or down the Caledonian Canal for some extra waterborne adventures in the highland for you and your brave hounds.
