Pack a picnic and take your pups for a lovely stroll at Craigellachie Nature Reserve (17 miles), where you'll find stunning views of the Cairngorms across to Aviemore and several lochans. Alternatively, head to the exceptionally pretty – and dog-friendly - Loch an Eilein in forest of Rothiemurchus (17 miles), which has been voted Britain's Favourite Picnic Spot.
