This beautiful cottage is situated on a secluded stretch of the shore of Loch Broom in Northern Scotland and sleeps up to six guests and one dog. Its location will take your breath away; you'll feel like you've just wandered into a postcard! The property benefits from uninterrupted views in all directions, which can be fully appreciated from the cottage's large sunroom. You can fish or canoe from the beach at the front of the house and the woofer will love exploring the woodland surrounding the property.
The spacious and stylish accommodation provides ample space for you all to relax and enjoy the holiday. Chill out in front of the cosy open fire, with the four-legged one at your feet, or dine alfresco using the on-site firepit whilst planning the next day's adventures or admiring the area's resident wildlife, including otters, porpoises, eagles and seals. Hard floors throughout the living area make dealing with muddy pawprints nice and easy and the enclosed garden means the dog can potter outside on a warm day.
Although you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, you're only 7 miles from the picturesque fishing town of Ullapool. Known as the gateway to the Northern Highlands, it provides a great starting point for a wide variety of walks, including mountains, rocky coasts and long inland footpaths. Right in the thick of walking territory, you won't struggle to find dog-friendly eateries here. Just 3 miles north of the town is Ardmair Beach. This stone beach is a popular spot for dog walking and fishing and provides beautiful views out over the bay to Isle Martin. Just north of Ullapool, you'll find the rugged landscape of Inverpolly. Best explored on foot (or paw) this remarkable area is a haven for wildlife, including wildcats, buzzards and golden eagles.
