Nice, wee, traditional highland cottage. Well situated for exploring the spectacular NW of Scotland. Views from cottage are amazing. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden. Cottage was very cold on arrival as heating wasn't on and you need to bring logs etc for the fire, none provided to start you off! Once heated and fired the cottage was cozy and comRead morefortable enough. It's not fancy but having our dogs with us this was just fine. Beds are comfy with cozy duvets. Good shower and oodles of hot water. Hide

Corrachbeag is in a fantastic location, but the cottage itself is a little 'tired' & in need of a little attention. That however did not detract from our holiday experience - we had a great week exploring the area and its gorgeous beaches. We also enjoyed trips to Smoo Cave and Balnakeil Craft Village. Whilst we managed the walk to Sandwood Bay, weRead more weren't able to get to Cape Wrath - the wind prevented the ferry from making the crossing. So we will just have to come back to Corrachbeag again :) Hide
