There are miles of wonderful walks for happy hounds and their owners to explore throughout the New Forest which can be reached via a footpath from the cottage. There’s beautiful woodland, breathtaking coastal paths and the spectacular Solent Way, as well as attractions including the New Forest Heritage Centre (3 miles), the New Forest Reptile Centre (6 miles), Hurst Castle (15.5 miles), the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu (8.5 miles) and Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway (11 miles). There are plenty of dog-friendly places to eat and drink in the nearby village of Lyndhurst (3.5 miles), or you can catch a ferry from nearby Lymington (11.5 miles) to explore the Isle of Wight.
