Dolgellau (1 mile) is a fantastic place for curious canines and their owners to visit, with a number of excellent dog-friendly pubs to relax in. There are plenty of walks in the area - the Torrent Walk along the Clywedog (4.5 miles) and Mawddach Trail leading to Barmouth (9 miles) are both popular options. Heading to the coast you can take a water taxi from Fairbourne (8.5 miles) to Barmouth Harbour. Dogs can accompany you at Harlech Castle (19 miles) and there are miles of walks in the breathtaking Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park (9 miles) and throughout the Snowdonia region.
