Warmer than you'd think an electric heated converted barn would be. Only a 10 minute drive from Bristol but would recommend getting the Long Ashton park and ride to avoid paying for expensive parking and clean air zone charges, but doesn't run on Sundays, though the Bath P&R does. 45 mins from Bath, 30 mins to Cheddar gorge. Well positioned along winding country lanes, but close to the city life of Bristol and a huge variety of other attractions, natural and man made. We had a really enjoyable stay at Ed`s Barn (2 adults and 2 young children under 8). Whilst appearing small from the outside, the cottage was spacious and homely inside and is very well equipped. The views are stunning and having sheep in the adjoining field was a real thrill for the kids! The location is fantastic, a lovely rural setting but with Read morethe city of Bristol close by and the beautiful Chew Valley nearby too. We certainly hope to come back and would strongly recommend Ed`s Barn. Hide
