Part of a 13th-century manor house that was mentioned in the Domesday Book, this historic one-bedroom cottage in rural North Cornwall offers plenty of lovely dog walks right from its doorstep. It’s the perfect property for romantic couples who like to explore the countryside with their canine companions by their side. Sleeping two people and welcoming up to two four-legged friends, this quaint cottage offers peaceful views out to the Atlantic and an enclosed patio, so your pups can enjoy running free. And you can bet that your furry friends will love getting their paws on the doggy welcome pack of homemade treats!

Located in a complex of three cottages nestled in some beautiful pasture and woodland, this historic end-of-terrace cottage is cute and cosy. Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by a bright and airy, attractively-decorated open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Cook up a storm in the kitchen area, enjoy a romantic meal with your loved one in the dining area, or snuggle up in the lounge area as your happy hounds snooze in front of the woodburner. Just a few steps away, you’ll find a charming bedroom for a good night’s rest. Step outside and there’s a lovely fenced patio area to relax in, so pull up a chair and enjoy a glass of wine as your pups run free.

Nearby Duckpool Bay (11 miles) is a great dog-friendly beach. Located where the Coombe Valley meets the sea, this wild and romantic cove is often less crowded than the other beaches in the area. Alternatively, for a magical day out, check out the legendary Tintagel Castle (15 miles), which welcomes dogs on leads.

I can't big this place up enough, It's in the middle of nowhere, but it's perfect for adults of all ages and their dogs, Deborah & Steve are the perfect hosts, friendly & chatty but not intrusive, we would go out sightseeing every morning and get home before dark, it is a great base for many tourist attractions, Fantastic.

Lovely cosy cottage in a rural location, spotlessly clean. Safe fenced front garden, ideal for dog owners and lots of open grassland for the early morning walk! The owners live alongside the property; are very welcoming and play a huge part in encouraging wildlife. The location is within easy travel distance to surrounding beaches, pubs and shops.
