Escape with your loved ones to this traditional detached cottage nestled on the edge of the Black Mountains in Brecon Beacons National Park. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms and welcoming two faithful friends, it's the perfect accommodation option for families or groups of friends who are yearning to explore the Brecon Beacons together with their dogs at their side. Spend delightful days taking your dogs for walks through the grounds at Tretower Castle, and in the evening come home to the cottage and enjoy a soothing dip in the outdoor hot tub.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner. From there, step down a couple of stairs and take a moment to relax by the wood burner in the cosy lounge. Head back to the kitchen area to whip up some dinner and then gather everyone at the dining table to eat. Alternatively, head out into the garden, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco while your pups enjoy the freedom of the enclosed space. After dinner, take a dip in the outdoor hot tub or relax in the lounge while your pups sleep at your feet. At the end of the day, there are three stylish bedrooms to choose from – one twin on the ground floor, and a double and a twin on the first floor.

Head to the stunning Pen Cerrig-calch (9 miles) and enjoy the challenging trek to the top, where you and your pups will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Black Mountains. Alternately, make your way to Llangorse Lake (9.5 miles) - another beautiful spot to go for walkies. If you want to try out indoor climbing, you can do so at the Llangorse Multi Activity Centre with your dogs by your side.

Loved the cottage and amazing beautiful Wales scenery. Very relaxing. Felt at home and the owners were very kind and helpful. Had a dog which meant we needed to feel relaxed and safe which we did. Will be recommending this cottage to others.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The whole place was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. The wood fired hot tub was a bonus and very easy to use. Easy access to hills and town from the cottage, and easy to get too. I expect we will be back.

Lovely large cottage in the middle of nowhere. Views were great from the hot tub. Quite a way down a very narrow lane so be prepared to reverse if you meet anyone. Local pub was about 1.5miles away and food was lovely. Great location for walks, dragons back, pen-y-fan, 4 waterfalls and others. Hot tub was great although did take 1.5hrs to warm up. Great place to stay! Well equipped with every thing we needed. Noted previous comment on cleanliness which I would say is not the case as the log fire produces a lot of dust that's all. Bathroom and kitchen spotless. Was a little of grid which took some getting use to but overall we would recommend a stay here!
