Situated in the outstanding Brecon Beacons National Park, this dwelling is a doggy delight. With 400 acres of farm land to sniff around, tails will be wagging as soon as you wind your way towards the cottage, one of three on-site. The magic continues inside with many a cosy corner and relaxing spot to enjoy, whether you have tired feet or tufty paws.

Unwind in the comfort of the lounge, put your feet up and lose yourself in a film or alternatively, make the most of the CD player and enjoy a holiday boogie! Light floods into the living area through large windows; here your canine companions can spend hours with noses pushed up against the glass dreaming of chasing every stick in sight. On returning from a game of fetch, muddy paws can be freshened up in the large shower before heading into the classically decorated kitchen to sniff out some dinner. Give the dog a bone then rustle up a tasty treat of your own to savour at the dining table. For delicious summer meals, wind down with a BBQ and gaze up at the stars from your enclosed garden area.

Surrounded by 400 acres of farm, furry guests will be chomping at the bit to scamper off-site and explore what lies beyond. Begin by having a ball in the Brecon Beacons National Park, heading up into the high country, down into deep gorges, or hunt out a waterfall and let four-legged friends frolic and splash to their hearts content. Sniff out a hearty lunch at one of Crickhowell’s paw-friendly pubs, 5.5 miles from home, then take your four-legged friend for an afternoon out at one of the local castles.

A lovely, cosy cottage in a stunning location. We stayed for a couple of nights whilst attending a wedding in Crickhowell. The cottage had everything we needed for a short break, and there are some really beautiful places to explore. Just be aware that the lane leading to the property is extremely narrow. We have a large car, and with stone walls eRead moreither side of the lane, it was a very tight squeeze. That being said, it definitely wouldnt deter us from going back; just something to be aware of. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wells cottage, our daughter and dog really enjoyed the garden. Stunning views from the garden and around the property. The cottage was well equipped and clean. We did lots of walks and a good place for food was The Bear Hotel in the nearby town of Crickhowell. Definitely would recommend this cottage to others.

A super cottage, well equipped and clean. Great position if you like walking (we do), path straight up hill - its steep but we loved it. 2 adult kids and 1 border collie, plenty of space, good wifi, kitchen had everything we needed, reached by a narrow road, really set back in peace. Thanks very much - great 5 night break.

Comfortable , well equipped cottage in a very quiet location with lovely views of the surrounding mountains .The owners Lisa and Ian were just a phone call away if you needed anything .We had a lovely walk with the dogs up the hill behind the cottage (pretty steep) and had the added bonus of seeing Ian with his dog herding the sheep! The nearby towRead morens of Brecon and Crickhowell are both worth a visit and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is a very relaxing walk. A very pleasant holiday. Hide

Such nice owners of the property. They came to a nearby pub to guide us when we could ot find the cottage. We were so happy they took our booking at the last minute when we had been let down by our original booking. Cottage is rustic and perfect for a holiday in the country. Many thanks Ian and Lisa

Beautiful location, very off the beaten track, but stunning scenery, Cottage was comfortable and well equipped. No mobile signal which was of no concern but I expected if anyone with medical conditions was staying it could be of use to know this. Bathroom could do with an update and some attention.
