Groups of up to eight humans and two pups will adore the spirit of adventure this wonderful property offers, with beautiful countryside on its doorstep and nearby outdoor activities to go mutts for.

Leaping through the porch, cheeky hounds will discover a modern kitchen with all the essentials to whip up a delicious plate of food and bowl of doggy treats. Down the hall is a sociable dining room, with breathtaking views over the lake, where you can dig into your scrumptious homemade meal. Once full, head to one of three bedrooms on this floor for an afternoon snooze: two twin bedrooms and a super king-size zip-and-link offer relaxing spaces to rest your head. Perhaps a peaceful soak in the stylish bathroom is what you need after a day exploring the great outdoors? On the lower ground floor is a fourth super king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A separate shower room is along the hall. The lounge has comfy sofas and a glorious wood burner, and a handy utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer to help clean those muddy paw prints from your clothes. Outside, the world is your oyster: enjoy the private hot tub or run wild across the shared grounds.

The market town of Bala is 3 miles away and boasts a dog-friendly family-run restaurant, cafes and a famous fish and chip shop dined in by the entire Manchester United football team! The National White Water Centre is just 6 miles away and offers white water rafting and kayaking on natural rapids.

if you enjoy the river and fishing, you will be hard pressed to beat this destination. the house was lovely it had all we needed including the hot tub. If i had was criticism it would be a upright hoover would be a good call...i know what your thinking :) but this is our 2nd time in 3 years and we will look to book again as it was a great weeks breRead moreak. i would suggest you order your food from ASDA to be delivered as bala shops are limited. Amazing location, fantastic holiday home. The lake and river running through the premises was fantastic and was so peaceful on a night. Kids were able to play on the onsite park. Plenty of red kites soared the sky which was great to see.

We booked for a family gathering of 7 adults and had a wonderful time. Comfort and facilities were just perfect. The surroundings of the estate are amazingly tranquil and beautiful. Management of this large site is first class, with help available if we needed, but great privacy also. There really is something for every age group to do and enjoy, aRead morend the area around Bala is great for local walking and exploration. Had a really enjoyable week in Bodweni House, lovely spacious cottage equipped with everything we needed, hot tub was a real treat & we all thoroughly enjoyed the lake, canoes & pedalos. Bala is the perfect setting for exploring Snowdonia. Would definitely come back & stay again.

Beautiful, stunning location. Enjoyed walking in the area and boating on the lake. Accommodation excellent-spacious even for seven persons and the dog. Thanks for the generous welcoming pack of provisions. Thanks also to Melvin the caretaker/handyman who was most helpful

The grounds of this property are outstanding, beautiful lake and access to river Dee, excellent fishing , lovely place to chill and relax in the outstanding Welsh countryside

The location of the property was great, having the lake with the kayaks, as well as the table tennis and badminton was really great for keeping the kids entertained. The hot tub was very clean and also a great addition. Bala is a nice place to stay as a base for exploring some of North Wales and this property was all we could have asked for. We wilRead morel definitely be staying again. We hope that it stays a small, intimate holiday space as that helped make it feel more idyllic. The owner was helpful Hide

What a great place to spend a relaxing week! The house was very comfortable, clean and functional and had everything needed for a family of 8 plus two dogs. The beds were very comfortable, and all you could hear at night was the gently bubbling and splashing of the stream. The lake was great for swimming in and messing about on the boats. Had an amazing weekend with family and friends. We booked the Hall and House to celebrate my 60th Birthday. We had lovely hampers to greet us with basic provisions. The kitchen was very well equipped. Wonderful outside areas to keep all ages entertained. Thank you to the lovely gentleman who came and sorted the recycling each day we were there.
