This holiday property offers all you will ever need for a dream escape to the coast and is on the doorstep of the equally breathtaking Durlston Country Park and a Victorian castle.

For families and their four-legged members seeking a bright and spacious holiday home close to the heart of Swanage, this two-bedroom apartment, all on one level, takes the lead. Stroll down the steep hill to reach the independent shops and galleries of the town and sample local ales in one of the dog-friendly pubs. Enjoy games of ball chase at Monkey Beach where dogs are allowed all year round, or hop onboard a canine-friendly cruise from the harbour along the Jurassic coastline.

 

With the accommodation arranged all on one level, your seaside getaway has a light and airy feel with open-plan living space, meaning your hound is never far from your side. Large bay windows look out over Swanage Bay, bathing the space in natural light. Your kitchen area has everything you need to rustle up family meals to share at the large dining table. Curl up on the comfortable sofas to watch a family film while your pup snoozes on the rug. When it’s time to retire, there are two restful bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower room and a bunk room, perfect for younger guests. There is also a family bathroom. Venturing outside, take in the views from your sunny decked terrace where you can enjoy al fresco meals as your hound stretches their paws on the lawn.

 

Take your canine companion on a memorable trip on the Swanage Railway (0.5 miles), where you can journey through the scenic countryside on a heritage steam train. Put your best paw forward along the South West Coast Path that runs through the town, discovering sheltered coves for doggy paddles and picnics. Sniff out your favourite trail through Durlston Country Park (1 mile) where you can enjoy miles of walks and spot dolphins in the bay below.

Comfy flat with great views. You need to be fairly active as it is at the top of a steep hill. We parked our car up and used public transport great for everywhere. Wonderful walks on the doorstep.

Lovely well equiped flat with good views and nice outside seating area, also pet friendly which was great. Up a steep hill if walking from the town.

A lovely ground floor apartment which was clean, bright and very comfortable There was parking on the road as well as off road parking . It was located at the top on a long steep hill but on a quiet road and very close to Durlaston Country Park which had a lovely coastal walk up to the cafe at the castle and beyond. It was easy to get to parts of tRead morehe area such as Corfe Castle and Studland Bay where if you are NT members parking is free. Would certainly stay there again. Hide

We love Swanage and our early year holiday is always with our Dog. We didn't want a caravan and finding Tilly Whim near Durlston for our walks was great. The flat was clean and tidy and did not smell 'doggy'. We would definitely consider booking again our stay was lovely.

The property was perfect for us and our little dog. Comfortable , clean and stylish. The location with sea views was great, easy parking. The dog loved his variety of walks, we had a great week and will book for next Spring.

Did not realise how steep the hill were. Going down a breeze come back up took my legs 2 days to get over . The view from the apartment I just loved. The beds so comfortable, I evan checked the mattress to see which it was for home. The welcome pack of milk, tea and biscuits was a lovely touch. Nice comfortable beds and good views from the bedroom and front room for the fireworks. Easy to reach walks along the Cliff tops A nice place to stay for a family of four without mobility issues as the hill to the property is quite steep for older guests. Carnival was on, and we discovered this meant the roads to the property were closed off for 2 Read moreof our 5 days stay with no diversions possible for one of those days, and so we couldn't get back to the property at all. rearranging furniture in main room so everything is not placed at the edges of the room with a big empty space in the middle! Present layout may be better for young families than older couples!
