This picturesque ivy-covered cottage is surrounded by heathland, and you will appreciate the beautiful views as much as your doggy will enjoy the walkies! Enjoy the fresh air and stretch the legs over miles of woodland trails, pebble beaches and cliff walks before returning to relax into the welcoming warmth of this quaint stone built cottage.

Head through the quarry-tiled hall and store coats, boots and the dog lead before heading to settle in for the evening in the light and airy sitting room. The double doors lead to the garden so your happy hound can scamper and snout about freely whilst you watch from the comfort of the sofa. As the evening draws in, light the open fire and relax with a book or board game as your canine companion sprawls for a snooze. Step out of the front gate and cross on to the heath, with a short walk over green fields taking you to the beach. At the rear, the semi-enclosed garden is the perfect place for your dog to burn off that excess energy whilst you relax with a glass of wine. Come the morning, take a stroll to the local shop which is just half a mile away.

This beautiful cottage is located in a stunning area of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, with the seaside town of Swanage just 3 miles away. The local pub welcomes dogs so take a walk to Old Harry’s Rock (2 miles) and enjoy a bite afterwards. If your pup enjoys splashing in the waves, head to the sheltered Knoll Beach (2 miles) or the pebbled bay at Tyneham (12 miles). Durlston Country Park and Castle (5 miles) has woodland and cliff-top trails of varying lengths and for all abilities.

Location cannot be beaten and with deer grazing in the garden and beautiful views it really is a nature immersion. Cottage is comfy enough and well equipped.

Location and garden amazing. Fantastic views. Drive from public road up up unadopted road not great, especially in heavy rain when you cannot judge depth of the many enormous pot holes. Cottage very basic but priced accordingly.

I loved this cottage. Its very cozy, warm when it needed to be and everything works. What a wonderful location. Wi-Fi not a necessity. Plenty of information about access, so we brought a small car.

Heath Cottage is a rare architectural gem adjacent to beautiful Dorset heathland. If you are seeking a tranquil, warm and comfortable hideaway (and can live without super fast wifi ) then Heath Cottage is for you. Easiest to park at the front of the cottage. Studland beaches are some of the best in UK.

Lovely cottage in an outstanding location so close to beaches and Heath yet remote enough to feel peaceful and notice the silence. Great kitchen for customers who actually cook while away. Thank goodness it takes a dog.

We loved this gem of a place - such a great location with walking from the door - the garden is peaceful, the fire was fabulous and we had a super relaxing time.
