A paradise for walkers and nature lovers, this property sits within a quiet glen on the outskirts of Evanton, within easy reach of the villages, lochs and glens of the Northern Highlands. Six humans and two canine companions have the run of this luxurious property, which features spacious, open-plan living areas and a patio and grassy garden with views over the Cromarty Firth.

Arranged over two storeys, this detached steading has been lovingly converted with exquisite attention to detail. Bursting with charm and character, it features vaulted and beamed ceilings and feature stone walls, with all the creature comforts you might expect. With soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, the impressive open-plan living space is flooded with natural light. Curl up with your pup in front of the wood burner after long country walks, cook up a storm in the fitted kitchen, and gather the pack around the dining table for memorable meals – with stunning views! Three spacious bedrooms, each with zip-and-link beds and en-suites, are divided between the ground and first floors, offering flexibility for your group. The property benefits from ample private parking, a grassy garden with a patio and outdoor dining furniture, and walking trails leading directly from the garden.

You and your top dog will be spoilt for choice with superb walks in the region, including Black Rock Gorge (1 mile) and picturesque Rogie Falls (18.5 miles). History-loving hounds will adore exploring the ruins at Fyrish Monument (8 miles) and Craig Castle (12 miles). Nature lovers can hop on dolphin and wildlife spotting trips on the Cromarty Firth; some operators allow well-behaved sea dogs on board too.

Amazing location, very private with a great view. All amenities are of the highest standard and the property was extremely clean and well equipped. Wonderfully dog friendly and accommodating. A very unique and beautifully finished renovation.

A lovely house, nicely appointed, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. In a quiet location with nice views and local walks from the door and access to plenty of activities further afield.
