Great location with walks straight from the door and fantastic views. We agree with other guests, it is not an apartment, its a studio. It is in need of refresh, apart from that, it was very comfortable and quiet. We had no issues with the wifi. The TV however was a bit of challenge, we did eventually manage to get it to work. This is a bedsit and not a one bedroom apartment as suggested by the description and photos. Dated decor and furnishings but adequate. Too many laminated notices of 'do nots'. Fire cannot be seen let alone appreciated from the seating area, not cosy Take your own 60W equiv bayonet light bulbs to replace the 40W provided or you will be unable to seeRead more to read! TV does work but you will need a degree in technology to fathom it out. But the bed is comfy, thank goodness! Hide

Fantastic location with plenty to see and visit. The apartment is part of a old property which does have a few age problems but all is forgotten when you open the curtains and you are greeted with such a splendid view and is in such a quiet location.

The location is really great for walks from the doorstep or starting from Hawkshead. Bed and furniture very comfortable. Short walk to the pub which serves good meals. When we had problems with the TV and the hot water supply the staff at the office from holidaycottages were really helpful.

Fab accommodation in a beautiful setting. This apartment has everything you need! We stayed in the Delft Suite, if we stay again will opt for an upstairs room as views would be better & more private.
