A quirky barn conversion in the North York Moors, this stunning family cottage is perfect for your next country retreat. The property happily sleeps two guests, making it perfect for a romantic couple looking for quality time together. Naturally, you wouldn’t want to enjoy coast and country walks without the company of man’s best friend, so feel free to bring two beloved canines along for the trip.

This wonderful cottage has been thoughtfully decorated with a trendy and unique style, combining brightly coloured decor with original country features. The four of you can make yourselves instantly at home in the generous kitchen which offers more than enough room to cook, dine and park cosy dog beds. The lounge is a compact snug with a comfortable sofa and a warming wood burner. Sit down to a good book, thrilling board game or exciting film, letting Fido and Rover doze away happily by the flickering flames. In brighter weather, be sure to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks in the courtyard to the front, letting pups sniff around this shared space.

There’s an abundance of coastal spots for enjoyable dog walks in the area, including in the beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay just 2 miles away. Pack tennis balls for games of fetch on the sandy beach, where dogs are welcome to frolic in the sea and sand. The North Yorkshire Heritage Coast offers an abundance of wonderful walkies, with Scarborough 15.5 miles south and Whitby 6 miles north. Alternatively, from Robin Hood’s Bay join the famous Coast to Coast walk, leading you through some glorious routes in the North York Moors.
