Have fun with your friends, family and two very happy hounds at this splendid holiday home in Appledore. Spread out and enjoy the exceptional space offered by the barn-style home, which sleeps up to 10 guests across five bedrooms. Wander through the charming village, take the dogs to bound along the beach or spend summer afternoons in your enclosed courtyard garden.

Your unique property provides three storeys of beautifully finished living space. At first-floor level, your stunning, vaulted kitchen/diner/lounge, is where you and your contented canines will while away much of your time indoors. Cook, dine and then relax with your pets before a roaring wood burner in winter or open the French doors onto the enclosed balcony in summer. Four of your beautiful bedrooms are at ground-floor level: two have en-suite shower rooms and one benefits from French doors onto a balcony. A generous family bathroom is also on this floor. Your fifth bedroom and its en-suite shower room are at basement level, where you can also relax on the sofas in the games room, with your delighted dogs at your feet. Challenge each other to a game of table tennis and open the doors to the garden to let your pets wander outside. Discover a useful utility room down here too, where you can launder towels and store doggy accessories. On warm evenings, light the BBQ in your pretty garden and serve summer suppers outside to two and four-legged members of your party.

Stroll approximately 1 mile into Northam Burrows Country Park to take your precious pets for long walks. Make your way to the beach, about 2 miles away, for happy afternoons splashing together. Embark upon a section of the South West Coast Path, England’s longest waymarked long-distance footpath, from your base.

We stayed as a family of 10 , 6 adults and 4 children. The accommodation is excellent and well equipped. The kitchen has 2 of everything which is very useful to minimise washing up! We stayed as a family group and it was perfect. Immaculately clean and fabulously well equipped. Large and spacious so you aren't on top of each other and a great cinema / games room downstairs if you want a family movie night or want a separate space for the kids. Centrally located so no reason to eat in if you don't want as places to eat all nearRead moreby within a short walk. The cottage is just beautiful the seating and kitchen area is a show stopper. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully oresented and again spotlessly clean. The games room was an added extra we played pool, table tennis and air hockey and the TV was great too.. Amazing property! Couldn't believe how lovely it was. The kitchen was high quality and well equipped, and it was a wonderful space for 10 people. An absolutely fantastic place for a family get together. We were here with our adult children and their partners - plenty of room for everyone to hang out upstairs and have tournaments in the games room downstairs. The house was very well equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils etc you could possibly need. The location was perfect; the house is Read morein the centre of things yet quite quiet and hidden. Absoloutely amazing property. No good for snyone eith wesk knees or mobility issues . Stunning in every possible. Beds comfy . Spotlessley clean . Quiet at night . So very well equipped. Top draw!
