This attractive and quirky converted chapel in the pretty village of Warham, close to the glorious swathe of Holkham Beach, offers the ideal base from which to enjoy the beautiful coastline of North Norfolk with your canine companion. Sleeping four guests across two bedrooms, it is perfect for a family seeking a peaceful retreat with up to two four-legged friends.

This unusual property is full of character and offers a spacious and comfortable stay for a family and their beloved pet. The lovely lounge with the original chapel windows and double-height ceiling is a cosy space to relax. In the evenings, light up the fire and enjoy a family film while your canine companion snoozes on the rug. The well-equipped dining/kitchen is a light and bright space for a family meal and the adjacent sunroom is the ideal spot for a morning coffee on chillier days. Upstairs the two charming bedrooms are simply furnished with crisp, white bedlinen for a relaxing night’s sleep. Outside, there is an attractive, fully enclosed garden with a lawn where your furry friends can scamper about safety while you enjoy a drink in the sun.

Quaint Warham is home to a lovely dog-friendly pub and also Warham Camp, an ancient hill fort just under a mile away, perfect for stretching Fido’s legs. Just a short drive away is the charming village of Wells-next-the-Sea (3 miles), home to many quirky independent shops and an attractive harbour, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Beautiful Holkham Beach and Nature Reserve (5 miles) is a paradise for dogs with miles of golden sand where your four-pawed pals can enjoy gambolling in the waves. Further afield, the charming town of Sheringham (15 miles) is home to Sheringham Park, a beautiful National Trust property with 1,000 acres of stunning landscaped gardens for all to enjoy.

The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is extremely good, with easy access to many interesting places within a short distance. We would certainly stay here again.

Properties radiators were controlled remotely and only 1 out of 4 were heating up - in March we found this insufficient although an electric fire and 2 electric heaters were present which we had to use - also boiler wasn't on so no hot water until we figured out how to work it Overall place is nice enough if you're looking for peace and quiet but nRead moreot suitable for a working break as Wifi very poor - we have stayed at a lot better for a lot less Hide

It's beginning to feel unloved. There were issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The back garden isn't really secure for dogs (easily solved). However the internal space is good (needs a stair gate to keep dogs in lounge (we used our suitcases). The hot water & heat timings need adjusting and the bathroom isn't really that suitable for anyone wiRead moreth mobility issues, the taps are difficult to reach without being in the bath. We were lucky to find the converted Chapel free with a last minute booking. Well equiped kitchen and comfortable sitting room. Lovely bathroom with excellent shower. We will definitely be coming back.

Great location. Pub within walking distance, though you need to book if you want to eat. The Chapel is clean and has everything you need. Could probably do with a little bit of updating but still a lovely place to stay.

The cottage was lovely , we were impressed with all the kitchen equipment provided , def need to invest in a new can opener , lovely pub just a couple of mins from the cottage great food recommend booking , the garden was nice , the side gate could benefit from being closed in for smaller breeds of dog , really enjoyed our stay

Location is fab, we really loved the garden. The the pub down the road is a little gem, the food was amazing! Overall we really liked our stay here, just needs some improvements.

Great location for North Norfolk. Pub 2 mins walk and very good. There were a couple of minor things that could be improved on, but overall I would highly recommend. We would stay again.

We had a lovely holiday in this chapel. The cottage was comfortable, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The conservatory is heaven in the sunshine, watching the birds. Pretty villages all around, boat trips from Wells-next-the-Sea, gorgeous sandy beaches a little further up the coast. Great location to explore from. The Old Chapel was quaint, spacious and very well equipped. Some earlier review remarked that it was not clean, but we didn't feel that this was the case at all. The garden while attractive and peaceful, was very small. We found the lawnmower in the shed, and it took my husband 5 minutes to cut the grass , necessary to clean up after the dog! The Old Chapel is very attractively furnished and generally comfortable. The only slight problem was that the radiators were set at a low temperature which we could not alter, and so the main room felt a bit chilly in the evenings as the fan heaters didn't really heat such a large room. Beds very comfortable and cottage garden a delight, all in all a much enjoyed holiday. Chapel was well stocked and position was ideal for visiting places on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.

The cottage was very comfortable, especially the bed! We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory in the small enclosed back garden and watching the birds on the feeder. The local pub is only 2 minutes walk away, is very friendly (and dog friendly) and serves excellent food. Warham is ideally situated for everywhere on the North Norfolk coast. We were baffled by the heating and hot water systems. There was insufficient hot water at 9.00am and 7.00pm on any day. There are no radiators in either bedroom. The heating is locked and said to achieve 20/21 degrees when activated my motion within the cottage. We were not able to achieve this and, as a result, felt cold when sitting quietly in thRead moree evening so resorted to the supplementary heaters. Lovely cottage in a nice village. The cottage its self is a old chapel with high ceilings in the main living room. Garden small but well equipped with table set and bbq. The local pub food is great and opening time convenient Id definitely stay here again
