A Grade II listed, characterful and peaceful property situated on a 27-acre farm, right in the heart of North Devon, this cottage can accommodate two dogs and two humans in utter comfort. Four-pawed and two-legged guests are welcome to wander the farm, exploring the woodland, orchard and nearby rivers. Guests can even pick their own vegetables from the farm to enjoy for lunch or dinner.
The property, adjacent to the owners’ farmhouse, is full of character, complete with exposed beams and stonework. The focal point of the open-plan living area is a wood burner with free firewood, perfect for your canine companions to curl up in front of on a chilly evening and warm their paws. Upstairs and adjacent to the king-size bedroom, there is an en-suite bathroom complete with wet room – a useful place should you or your pups need to wash off the sand after a busy day at the beach!
The cottage is located 2 miles from the village of Woolsery where you will find amenities such as a convenience store, pub, fish and chip shop and a restaurant. A local pub is dog-friendly and serves up traditional pub food. Just 6 miles away you will find the quaint village of Clovelly: pup pals are welcome in the village and there are plenty of walks from here that will set tails wagging. Just 10 miles north of the property is Hartland Point, a rocky outcrop of land where the Atlantic Ocean has lashed against it. Here, you can access the famous South West Coast Path - 90 miles of this coastal route runs through North Devon so visitors to the area will never be short of new walks to explore with their canine friends.
