Located in the pretty village of Broadway, this traditional, picture-perfect cottage is a splendid spot for a romantic getaway for two. Sleeping two people in one bedroom, and welcoming up to two four-legged friends, you’ll soon be exploring the beautiful local village and the endless country paths that are available from your doorstep.

Although it has been renovated to an extremely high standard, this cosy cottage has not lost any of its welcoming cottage feel. You’ll find charming features like original exposed wooden beams, bare brick accent walls and rustic, stable-style doors throughout. The kitchen is modern and homely, while the dining area is fresh and intimate - just perfect for those cosy evening meals with the one you love. The spacious lounge features a welcoming wood burner, while up the cottage-style stairs the bedroom adds a little boudoir-chic to the property. Step outside and you’ll find a pretty garden and sunny patio area that’s totally enclosed, so your pups can happily run free while you strike up the BBQ. In the evening take the short walk less than half a mile away to the local dog-friendly village pub.

Further afield, you can explore the historic town of Taunton (11 miles), where Fido is sure to love a walk around the exceptionally pretty Vivary Park, or a spot of lunch at the dog-friendly Plough pub. Or take your pup for a refreshing stroll on the South West Coast Path, which is dog-friendly all year round. You can join the 630-mile-long trail at the town of Minehead (34 miles).

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy, there are some additions that would make stating with a dog a little more convenient such as a dog waste bin and some dog towels to keep muddy paws off the wooden floors. The location, however, is brilliant there are 2 fabulous pubs within easy walking distance who are incredibly dog friendly. A very well equipped cottage in a quiet, but lovely location. Both pubs in the village fed us well. The cottage was in a good position for exploration of the area and there are dog walks from the door.

Very cosy Cottage in a delightful village. Well equipped and comfy bed. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. Bathroom floor slopes a little, but it is an old Cottage and adds to the character! Appreciate the stair gate at the bottom of the stairs for Doggies who like to escape upstairs!
