This luxurious accommodation, situated within Exmoor National Park, sleeps eight guests and three dogs. Surrounded by countryside, it’s the ideal place to unwind with your nearest and dearest. Spend the day exploring the golden sandy beach at Woolacombe with the woofers and round it off with a glass of bubbly in your private hot tub.
The property is decorated in a country-cottage style, with beautiful exposed beams and elegant touches. The open-plan kitchen/diner boasts a grand dining table where you can all gather for breakfast. In the evening, sink into the large comfy sofas and, on a warm night, throw open the patio doors so the hounds can drift in and out and you can admire the far-reaching views. Outside, you’ll find a charming patio area with outdoor furniture and a large lawned garden where the four-legged guests can stretch their legs. There’s also an orchard which is a lovely spot for a morning stroll.
It goes without saying that you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dog walks. There are numerous routes from your door across rugged moorland, and you can finish your day at the popular dog-friendly pub just 1 mile away. Woolacombe boasts a 3-mile stretch of sand, so even in high season it’s easy to escape the crowds and find your own little tranquil spot. Apart from a small restriction at the start, most of the beach welcomes dogs. The quaint villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (12 miles away) are well worth a visit; hop on the water-powered cliff railway with your canine chums to travel between the two. Lynmouth beach allows dogs all year and there are some gorgeous eateries and gift shops to peruse. From Lynton, head out along the dramatic coast where the views are truly magical.
