Located in the pretty village of Old Hunstanton, this cottage is the ideal spot for canine-loving families to explore Norfolk. Get your pack together and enjoy a holiday on the Norfolk coast. Comfortably sleeping eight guests and two of your four-pawed pals, both humans and dogs are well thought of in this great property.
Spacious and bright, this traditional home is welcoming and full of character. Original features such as oak beams and stone alcoves sit alongside contemporary features, including a sunny conservatory with a large skylight. Curl up on comfortable sofas in the cosy lounge, letting Fido and Rover bask in the warmth of the roaring wood burner whilst you watch TV. The first of four sleeping spots can be found on this floor, where a kids’ TV room has pull-out sofa bed (made on request) with TV and Blu-Ray. Be sure to pack your dogs’ beloved beds and blankets, leaving them to sleep on the ground floor whilst you retire to the cosy bedrooms on the first floor. In good weather, be sure to make use of the charming enclosed gardens with BBQ, outdoor furniture and space for your dogs to roam.
Take the lead and walk 1 mile to Old Hunstanton Beach, a wide expanse of golden shore which is dog friendly all year. Pack your tennis balls and bones, and let the dogs play whilst children take a dip in the water. Kids and dogs alike will adore excursions to the RSPB Titchwell Marsh reserve (4 miles) and Blakeney Point (21 miles), spotting rare birds and resident seals on your coastal walkies, before heading back to Hunstanton to pick up fresh fish and chips (1.5 miles).
