On the edge of the Scolt Head Island National Nature Reserve you will find this beautifully furnished cottage offering distant sea views and access to the pubs, shops and serenely beautiful salt marshes of Burnham Deepdale.
Sleeping six guests and welcoming one dog, this bright and spacious cottage offers five-star accommodation ideal for a small group of family or friends. Gather together in the dual-aspect lounge, where the wood burner and underfloor heating will keep your paws warm after a day exploring the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are walks galore straight from the doorstep to delight your dog, including the Norfolk Coast Path which you can join less than half a mile from the cottage.
When you return to the cottage, store sandy towels and dog toys away in the handy utility room, with its washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage boasts lots of floor space in its rooms, so your four-legged friend has plenty of places to curl up or stretch out. Make sure to bring their best beds and blankets, and they’ll happily spend evenings beside you, as you tuck into a hearty meal in the kitchen/diner and relax in the homely lounge. They will adore curling up in front of the fire, so when it’s time to head upstairs to bed, let sleeping dogs lie. The enclosed back garden is great for Fido, with both a patio and lawn. While you enjoy a BBQ seated round the table in the sun, throw your top dog a bone to play with on the grass.
Canine companions can feel the sand in their paws and go for a doggy paddle in the waves at Brancaster Beach (3 miles). Keep them on a lead at Holkham Hall (7 miles) while they sniff out the trails through the park and walled garden. Younger guests can try out the ropes course and play area, while you and your faithful friend have a seat in the courtyard cafe.
