A home from home, this stone built cottage is in the heart of the coastal village of Beadnell, a perfect base for anyone looking to be close to a beach and a whole host of wonderful local attractions.
This delightful cottage, set amidst the beautiful Northumberland, welcomes six guests and two dogs. Surrounded by stunning walks with miles of coastline to the north and south to explore, your four-pawed pals will be pulling on the leash! And when everyone needs time to relax weary legs, the enclosed lawn means that you can still enjoy the fresh air and sun without ever leaving the property.
The cottage’s open plan lounge/diner is perfect for socialising with friends and family. Cook up a storm in the kitchen before tucking into your meal at the dining room table, a bright space flooded with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows that overlook the garden. The comfy sofas in the lounge invite you to sink into the cushions, where you can while away an evening with a film or good book, as your canine companion curls up at your feet. When you’re ready, climb the stairs to bed and rest your head on soft pillows and recharge for another day. Bunk beds for little ones are on the ground floor. Outside, there is a small enclosed garden with a lovely lawn for small paws and feet to play on, as well as a bench seat for soaking up the sunshine.
For the feel of sand beneath your feet, head to local Beadnell Bay (1 mile), or treat your dog to the ultimate walk and let them sniff around the grounds of spectacular Bamburgh Castle (5 miles) before descending to the beach below. Beadnell village has a pub (which includes a dog-friendly space in the bar), cafe and shop all within walking distance (less than a mile from the cottage). For the more adventurous, the area is well-known for its water sports, including water skiing and bodyboarding.
