This converted forge provides everything you should need for a memorable holiday with family and four-legged friends. Accessed via two sets of steps, the cottage is homely and welcoming with a large open-plan lounge/diner with TV for cosy evenings in with loved ones. The kitchen offers ample workspace for preparing tasty meals, which are best enjoyed in the beautiful secluded garden. The location of the cottage was excellent to get around to the various parts in the Island. It's a short walk into Godshill from the cottage and the garden in front was really nice as you could make the most of sunny days. The cottage is a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen was really well equipped and stocked. Alison is an excellRead moreent host and was very responsive to the short requests we sent. Hide

Great location. Close to several excellent walks - lovely location - would be good for people who have non reactive dogs as gardens adjoin to owners and our dogs could see hers though fence - other than that we had a lovely time - mostly used as a base

We had a very relaxing few days break at the cottage while having some refurb work done to our house. The cottage is perfect for those with dogs. If you want ultra clean and pristine this is not the place for you. We loved it. The owner was very helpful and advised on local walks.

We found the cottage convenient for getting around the island. It was well stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. We felt at home very quickly. There was a lovely walk straight out of the back garden gate and very peaceful.
