This cosy and charming one-bedroom cottage makes a lovely romantic hideaway for a couple and their favourite dog, in the perfect place to explore the beaches of the North Norfolk coast. There are plenty of wonderful walks to be had on nearby beaches and clifftops, including in the much-loved resort of Cromer. The Norfolk Broads are also within striking distance, and you’ll find lots of fantastic country lanes to explore right from the doorstep.
Inside, the cottage is perfectly formed and bright, with all you and your four-legged friend will need for a comfy stay. There is an open-plan lounge/diner with a sofa to curl up on after a long day exploring, and a dining table for two. Get the open fire roaring on chilly nights and lazy afternoons; put your feet up while the dog snoozes. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bedroom and the bathroom. Outside, there’s a spacious garden with patio furniture and a BBQ. There’s also plenty of room for the waggy-tailed one to burn off some energy while you enjoy breakfast in the sun or a cool drink in the evening.
The cottage is set in the little village of Northrepps, where you’ll find a traditional pub in which you’re sure to get a warm welcome. The fishing village of Overstrand is around 1.5 miles away with a wild, empty beach to explore as you choose. Cromer, with its fish-and-chip shops, Victorian pier and long, sandy beach is 3 miles away. Most beaches in the area are dog-friendly, with some restrictions during the summer.
