Jump in the car and take the scenic drive to beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake (5 miles), which offers beautiful lakeside walks. Alternatively head out to the glorious Solway Coast and the town of Silloth (17.5 miles) where your four-pawed pal can enjoy racing around the wonderful stretch of beach and play in the waves.
