Fantastically located in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, adventurers with both two and four legs can escape here for the perfect getaway. Start your day by jumping out of bed and exploring your surroundings. Picnic at the beach or savour tasty fish and chips before returning home to snuggle up by the open fire which keeps guests with tufty paws and fluffy tummies warm on chilly evenings.

Unwind in the bright lounge where you can put your feet up and watch TV as those with paws request a tummy tickle and a tasty titbit. To rustle up something more substantial for hungry guests, step into the open-plan kitchen/diner and make use of this well-equipped space. Once everything is ready to serve, sit down for a communal meal at the stylish table where you can exchange ideas for your next exploration. The external space is shared with other on-site properties, please note, the space is not enclosed so keep an eye on the antics of young and furry guests. When eyes need a rest and it’s time for bed, climb the stairs to reach the bedrooms, two of which are treated to en-suites and all of which are pleasantly decorated for a peaceful night’s sleep. The additional family bathroom means mornings are easy and queues to freshen up are quick.

The delightful seaside village of Seahouses is on your doorstep; pop on a lead and head to the harbour where you can jump on a boat to the Farne Islands and discover wonderful landscapes and nature. For a frolic in the sand and sea, Bamburgh and its sandy beach lie 3.5 miles from home, where you can also visit the historic castle with its exciting tales of years gone by.

Really well equipped and spacious cottage. Was great to have three bathrooms and space for everyone to sit. It felt like a real home from home. Really well positioned in the village and bonus of two parking spots although we had to pull wing mirrors in of our larger car. It felt really homely and looked after. We had a lovely time.

Lovely large property close to shops and the pretty harbour. We enjoyed our short stay and were able to visit the places we had chosen. One place that we found exceptional was Warkworth Castle well worth a visit - and - of course a visit to the friendly pub opposite.

The cottage is very spacious, light and airy. It has space for 2 cars to park which was so handy (and not all cottages in seahouses have this). Comfy beds, and bonus 2 rooms being en suites. Great location for the centre of seahouses and exploring Northumberland.

We had a lovely stay in seahouses for a friends retirement. We all loved the house and would definitely stay again. The house had everything we needed and was really spacious. Really central to seahouses. The owners were easy to contact and helped when a storm affected the heating. Thanks for a lovely stay
