Nestled in the popular old quarter of Seahouses, just a short walk from the harbour, this charming terraced cottage is perfect for a peaceful coastal escape. There’s space for the whole family to relax, with the property sleeping five across two cosy bedrooms with many spots for Rover to curl up and snooze in his dog bed.
At the end of a long day on foot (or paw!), unwind in the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Prepare a delicious family feast in the bright, newly fitted kitchen and dine at the round table, which sits in a sunny position beside the window. Snuggle up on the sofas for a cosy evening in front of the wood burner with Fido snoozing at your feet, and catch up on your favourite TV programmes. There’s even a selection of books and games to keep you entertained — everything you need for a relaxing night in. Upstairs, you’ll find two beautifully-presented bedrooms: one master with king-size bed and one double with an additional single bed to sleep three.
Breathe in the fresh sea air and let your hound stretch their legs with a beachfront walk; you’ll find Seahouses’ golden sands just a short distance from the property. From here, enjoy the scenic route along the coastal path which stretches for 60 miles. Visit the pretty village of Beadnell (2 miles) and enjoy water sports on the famous horseshoe bay or explore the nearby castle at Bamburgh (3.5 miles). You and your canine companion can even board a boat from Seahouses for a cruise around the Farne Islands to spot the resident seals, puffins and other wildlife.
