Located in the heart of the historic old quarter of the bustling coastal village of Seahouses, this pretty property is just a few steps from the harbour, beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Gable Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast. Play fetch on the beach and let your beloved canine companion run wild in the sand, before picking up fresh fish and chips on the route home and unwinding with a good film. This comfortable cottage is well appointed to host a family of six and two delightful dogs, ensuring a restful stay for your entire pack.

Each and every room in this contemporary property has been well designed and thoughtfully presented, creating a true home from home for both man and dog. Enter via the back door and head straight into the handy utility room, kicking off muddy boots and wiping wet, sandy paws. There’s space for all to relax in the cosy lounge. Curl up on a leather sofa to enjoy a film on Netflix or your favourite DVD whilst Fido and Rover lounge in front of the warming wood burner, dreaming of the day gone by. You won’t feel guilty leaving your beloved pets to sleep downstairs in this cosy house, and you’ll doze off in no time in one of the three homely bedrooms.

Enjoy a short 1-mile walk past the bustling harbour to get to the beach at North Sunderland. Let your four-pawed pals splash in the sea and bury bones in the sand whilst parents and children look out for various exciting sea birds. Follow the coast a little further and discover Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles), a stunning medieval fortress with dog-friendly grounds, aviation museum, cafe and bar. Sniffing out adventure a little farther afield, the Northumberland National Park lies just 22.5 miles away and offers an abundance of walking and fetching options in the glorious countryside.

The cottage was amazing! It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in superb condition. The location was ideal; right in the centre of Seahouses and a stones throw from the nearest pubs. We had a great time and loved every minute of our break. Id recommend this cottage to anyone and Im sure we will be back this year or next.
