This charming traditional cottage, located near Bamburgh, welcomes up to six guests and their furry friend for a relaxing stay. With access to on-site facilities including a swimming pool, a sauna and tennis courts, entertainment can easily be found at this property as well as out and about in the surrounding coastal villages and towns. Bamburgh itself is home to Bamburgh Castle which provides stunning views out to the Farne Islands, home to an array of seabird species and thousands of grey seals.
The property itself has many features that make it a home away from home. The patio area is perfect for sitting out with a glass of wine in the evening sunshine or sipping your morning coffee in tranquillity before heading out for the day. The lounge has comfortable sofas facing the electric fireplace and TV, which make it a great setting for a cosy evening in with some popcorn, a tasty bone and a family film. The property has wooden decor and has been painted throughout with light tones, making the place feel open and spacious. And with two en-suites and a family bathroom, there is plenty of room for everyone to comfortably enjoy the space.
Just 8 miles from the property is Seahouses, a large coastal village. From its harbour, you can catch the boat out to the Farne Islands for your chance to spot seals and puffins. After you return, there are some great fish and chip options for you to enjoy sitting down on the harbour. A 3-mile coastal walk from Seahouses will take you to Beadnell Bay beach where you can try out the selection of water sports on offer and your pup can chase sticks to his heart’s content.
