House is fairly well appointed, plenty of space (apart from the beams in the bedrooms getting in the way of my head), and in a good location. House was very clean on arrival. Problem gaining access to the WiFi but was sorted following a telephone call with the owners, WiFi is essential for the TV to work. 2 pubs, a small supermarket and a chippy alRead morel within 100m of the house Hide

Kitchen; the oven only had 1 shelf and we needed 2. No DVD player but plenty of films we could not use. WIFI; although it did not say it had WFI it did not explain that it did not so we were surprised about this. We enjoyed our time in the cottage and it was very clean and comfortable, lovely location and lovely welcoming pubs/beer gardens. Cottage needs an update only one tray in the oven so limited what you can cook. The mattresses were just awful with winter quilts and no top sheets it was boiling hot and really uncomfortable at times. The owner had obviously never slept over in the property to try them!!

I never write reviews but rely on them before booking any holiday, so thought I should! We were a party of 6, 2 young children and 4 adults. This is a great house in a fantastic location. Within easy reach of some amazing beaches. However, investments are needed, kitchen was not well equipped with key utensils, knives were blunt and there is no freRead moreezer. Internet and TV connection is poor. Both double beds are metal frames and are SO creaky, & the base of one was broken. They need sorting. Hide

We had lovely stay at Belford Townhouse, very convenient to the welcoming Black Swan pub the fish and chip shop and Co Op. A very spacious house over 3 floors, the garden is neglected( but I suspect it probably doesn't get too much use), we would have liked to have sat out and maybe had a BBQ. Belford is a great base for discovering the North East.

We will not be going with Holiday Cottages UK again, as the information on your web site was not accurate. No bath, it had been changed to a walk in shower. No freezer compartment. Location was good - clean - no information file, that is suitable for holiday makers. IE contacts, restaurants recommendations, what to do with bins,

Very good situation overlooking the Belford Square, and very good location in north Northumberland, so good for Bamburgh, Alnwick, Holy Island and the coast. There is lots to do in the area, not just outdoor activities. The village has three pubs, all good, and a Co-op store. The A1 is nearby, and so the property is accessible.
