Located in a peaceful position close to the heart of the village of Beadnell, this charming two-bedroom cottage is set in a large enclosed garden – perfect for families and their furry friends to enjoy a relaxing break on the Northumberland coast. The cottage is less than a mile from the glorious beach at Beadnell Bay where dogs are allowed all year round; enjoy long walks along the sandy shore and doggy paddles in the cool water. Watch the boats unloading their catches in the harbour before sampling some local ales in the dog-friendly village inn.

With an open-plan layout, your pup is never far from sight in your coastal cottage, where the interior has a light and airy feel decorated in neutral shades with bright soft furnishings. After a long walk on the beach, sink into one of the plump sofas while your pup rests his paws. Prepare delicious dinners in the well-stocked kitchen area and share your meals around the centrally positioned dining table. Freshen up in the contemporary bathroom before retiring to one of the two comfortable bedrooms; pack your pet’s bedding so they get a good night’s sleep too. Outside, enjoy an al fresco meal on the patio while your canine companion explores the large South-West facing garden.

With walks straight from the doorstep, your holiday home is a haven for hounds. Step onto the Northumberland Coast Path for a walk to the National Trust-owned Newton Pool Nature Reserve (4.5 miles). Explore the imposing Bamburgh Castle (5.5 miles) with your four-legged friend at your side before walking out to Budle Point for incredible views across the coastline. Wander the quaint streets of Seahouses (2 miles) and share freshly caught fish and chips with your pet as you sit on the harbour wall.

Nice clean comfortable cottage to use as a base for visiting Northumberland, the main bedroom is quite small as I struggled especially down the side of the bed, nice open fields at the back, and dont forget carrots for the horse, we enjoyed our stay, it suited our needs

Warm and comfortable cottage. Great garden too as we have a dog. Good, quiet location for the village and the beach. Well equipped and great for a family as there is outside space. Beadnell is an excellent base to explore the Northumberland coastline.

We stayed at the cottage at the end of March. The location is fantastic with a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the cottage itself. As soon as we opened the front door there was a strong smell of damp. I have asthma and became quite ill while I was there, despite keeping the windows open. Pics of the garden need updaRead moreting as there is not open countryside behind the property any more. There was a building site there which was very noisy. We chose it for the view :( Hide

My wife and I attended for a short 3-night break over the New Year, we also had Louie our Cocker Spaniel with us. The location is ideal, only 10 minutes walk to the fantastic Beadnell beach, and 10 minutes from a couple of good pub/restaurants. The garden at the rear is large and ideal for the dog to explore. Lovely cottage in Beadnell, with everything you would need, lovely enclosed garden which our dog Molly enjoyed. Very central to explore the surrounding area, Bamburgh, Seahouses "etc". Only a short walk to two good restuarants. The Craster Arms is very dog friendly with a very good beer garden and lovely food which is very reasonably priced.

A spotlessly clean and well equipped property with a beautiful tendered lawn and borders. Short walk to the seafront and village. It's the first time my family and I had stayed in Beadnell but we all loved it and would definitely stay in this cottage again. The mobile fish and chips van on the green near the village shop is well worth a try! Lovely property. Everything was nice and clean, comfortable beds which were great after a hard day holidaying. Nicely appointed and in a perfect location for exploring the eastern side of Northumberland.
