Its delightful position on the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty makes this home just perfect for those who want to escape to the sea. It welcomes eight guests, but a coastal trip wouldn’t feel right without your canine companions, so grab the two dogs a bone and bring them along too. Cosy rooms invite you to find a moment of peace and quiet whilst the large garden area means you can follow the sun and woof the afternoons away whilst filling your lungs with brilliantly fresh air.
Drop your bags and head into the spacious kitchen to get the kettle on. Brew a mug of warming tea and whip up something tasty for all to enjoy. Small snacks can be enjoyed at the breakfast table, but occasional dinners call for tucking in at the charming dining table where all guests can sit comfortably. Patio doors let the natural light flood inside creating a tranquil ambience in which to savour yummy mouthfuls. Put your feet up by the wood burner-effect electric fire which promises to be a firm favourite with furry friends. Slip away for a moment of peace in the delightful conservatory before heading to bed to rest your eyes. Two bedrooms are found on the ground floor and make use of the bathroom on the same floor whilst two further bedrooms and a shower room can be found on the first floor. Outside, there is off-road parking for two to three cars.
Close to home at just 2.5 miles away, the bustling harbour at Seahouses offers delicious fish and chips plus boat trips to the wonderful Farne Islands. For a dose of history, visit Bamburgh Castle which is 5.5 miles from your door or simply spend the afternoon at the local beach at Beadnell which sits less than a mile from home and is dog-friendly all year round.
