  • After a day of exploration, relax and unwind in your own private hot tub
  • Scenic walking routes straight from your door
Property code: 57207

If you’ve got an upcoming celebration planned, you’ve found your venue. This stunningly renovated cottage, which sleeps eight (plus a very lucky dog), has been designed with luxury in mind. It sits on a rise, overlooking the River Teifi, with special features built into the rooms to relish the view, including a glass-walled raised patio and your own private hot tub.

Arrive at a road-level landing, tucked into the landscape. This is where your bedrooms are — two sumptuous doubles, each with an additional single bed, and the master, a spacious en-suite double with a bath and separate shower. Head down onto the main level of the house and you’ll find the vast, sunlit living area, a dining table perfect for those long, holiday meals and snug sofas arranged around a wood burner. French doors lead out to a raised, wrap-around patio big enough to party on. The best bit — the views. As you sit, eat, watch Fido playing on the grass, or recline in the hot tub, the whole landscape lays before you, the river winding around the rolling hills.

Your local pub is less than half a mile away and perfect for making yourself at home in the area. But you’re going to want to explore further too — an 11-mile drive will take you to the coastal resort of Aberporth, where your pup can roam the sheltered sands of Cardigan Bay and its surrounding cliff walks. Or take a visit to the waterfalls of Cenarth, famous for its leaping salmon, just 9 miles east. Village houses and the magnificent ruin of Cilgerran Castle sit stonily around the River Teifi for a medieval wander.

A beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub, views over the river and log burner made a dull January weekend a delight. I would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return one day.

Fabulous cottage with amazing views. Not far to walk to two lovely pubs, one does great food and the other had a roaring fire and was really friendly. Property is very spacious and well equipped with good parking outside.

3rd stay at the property. The location is peaceful and has lovely views. We love family walks across the river & the latest edition of a bench over looking the river on the properties land. During our stay we visited Aberporth beach, Cardigan & Cenarth falls. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it it. A very clean house in a fantastic location with views of the river which was in full flow during our stay. The location is secluded and quiet but only a couple of hundred metres from a main road which makes getting anywhere very easy without having to navigate miles of narrow country lanes. The garden is also very well maintained, I think it would Read morelook even better in the spring and summer. Second time we have been to Peny-bont because we absolutely love it! The cottage has everything - comfort, tranquility, easy access to some awesome beaches, local restaurants and pubs, a memorable view of the stars, and the constant bubbling sound of the river Teiffi to round it off, makes the stay here just idyllic!

The property was lovely and clean on arrival and had everything you could think of. It's in a very peaceful location with a lovely big garden. Great for an adult only relaxing holiday. Not In the ideal place if you have small children but it was still a wonderful time.

A beautiful home from home cottage, this cottage had breath taking views at the back of the property and spacious living space. Definitely need a car to explore as not much within walking distance. All in all it was a comfortable stay.
