Set tails wagging with a stay at this characterful cottage in the bustling port town of Brixham. Located just a whisker away from the famous harbour, this cosy coastal hideaway is a wonderful base for visitors to the English Riviera. Sleeping six people in three bedrooms with room for one well-behaved pup, this holiday home is perfect for families and groups of friends keen to include their four-legged friend in their Devon adventures.
Shrug off shoes and hang up leads as you enter this three-storey coastal retreat. With a beamed ceiling and feature fireplace, the lounge invites you to sink into plush sofas after days of fun, your faithful companion curled up in their dog bed by your side. With a double-range oven and subtle marine decor, the kitchen/diner is ideal for entertaining. A utility room offers additional storage space along with a family-sized fridge/freezer, and a door leads outside to a few steep steps up to a small patio with garden furniture. When night falls, leave the pup to snooze in their dog bed as you head upstairs. There are three bedrooms in total, a twin and a bunk room which share an elegant family bathroom on the first floor, and the master suite on the second floor with a double bed and an en-suite shower room. Please note that on-street parking is subject to availability, but there is a pay-and-display car park just 200 metres away.
Set noses twitching with morning walkies around Brixham Harbour where your dog will love the fishy scent as you watch the fishermen haul in their catch. Sea dogs can accompany you on a selection of boat trips from the harbour, or venture to the beaches of St Mary’s Bay, Elberry Cove and Fishcombe Cove (within 2 miles) which welcome dogs year-round.
