Unwind and enjoy a slower pace of life in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a wonderful location from which to base yourselves for a holiday. Close to sandy coves and fishing hamlets, it’s the perfect spot for lazy Sunday strolls on the beach. Sleeping four, plus one furry friend, it’s an ideal home-from-home for small families or groups looking for a little peace and quiet.

The attractive house is bathed in natural light, thanks to large windows and neutral decor. Wake up to a glimpse of the sea from the spacious bedrooms, before enjoying a family breakfast in the light and airy kitchen/diner. Why not take your morning coffee outside in the paved garden, letting Rover run around in the fresh Welsh air. After a day of exploring, a relaxing bubble bath beckons, before you snuggle beside the wood effect electric fire with a good book or your favourite film. If you’re planning a little more adventure during your stay, there is ample space to store your canoe, as well as a lockable bike store.

Head to nearby Traeth Penllech bay (4 miles), a mile-long stretch of sand, rocks and rock pools. For those who want to avoid sandy paws, the coastal path follows the cliffs along much of the bay and offers incredible sea views. At the western end of the bay you’ll discover Porth Colmon, a popular fishing spot in the area with ample pollock, bass, whiting, and more. The UK’s best modern marina is just 10.5 miles away, offering a great selection of water sports that will excite the more adventurous family members, while the National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw is 7 miles south and welcomes dogs in its picturesque lower woodland.

This property is fantastic, extremely well equipped (a proper professional knife block which we've never seen in any holiday rental and lots of good kitchen equipment), and very comfortable. We loved the little front garden space and the summerhouse for the nicer days we had, and on rainy days the house was warm and cosy with lovely sofas and good Read morecentral heating. Hide

This is a gorgeous little cottage set in a beautiful area. Nice and peaceful, with just the cows and sheep surrounding you. A small hotel/pub is just a few feet away, and serves delicious food. The cottage is spotlessly clean, and the beds are very comfy.

This was our second time staying at Bryn Tirion over the Easter break and it didn't disappoint again! Great, well equipped and comfortable house in a lovely location and Porth Towyn beach and the homewear design shop and cafe nearby are fantastic. If going out of season, The Lion Hotel seems to have adapted its hours and didn't open in the day the Read moreweek we stayed which was a little disappointing. However, the area is stunning. Great for 2, but the house is smaller than the picture suggests. The front parking / garden is all there is, no land to the rear. It is however dog proof.

House was beautiful and comfortable to stay in. Lovely area, great base to explore north Wales. There was also a great Pub with tasty food just over the road if you don't fancy cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Great WiFi connectivity in the property.

My Sister and I loved the cottage. It was warm, comfortable and homely. My dog loved it too. I could let him out side with no fears he would get out of the property.

My wife and I and our 2 dogs stayed at Bryn Tirion for 2 weeks in late September. The Llyn peninsula is a really lovely part of the country for a holiday. Unfortunately, the lack of a folder including user instructions for the more complicated appliances eg the TV in the lounge and the dishwasher caused more than a little inconvenience. The owner aRead moressured me this matter would be addressed. Shop across the road was a bonus, Asda and Lidl in Pwllheli. Aberdaron has area of dog friendly beach. Hide

Good location for exploring the beautiful area,well equipped, comfortable bed, plenty parking, cute little summer house in the garden.Pub and beach within easy walking distance, shop just across the road. Superb village centre location, good shop and pub within 100 meters. Beach a short walk. Excellent value for money and would return there anytime.

The cottage is smaller than it looks from the front, but perfect for the two of us. The 'enclosed garden' description on the website was misleading - there is no back garden or lawn at all (the cottage backs immediately on to a wall), but the paved driveway (a fairly large area) is enclosed, and out two dogs didn't seem to mind the lack of a lawn tRead moreoo much! Pretty house, one of the best we have stayed in, small inside for 4 (adults & teens, mainly kitchen is small) but fine for a few days - lovely village & location, pretty clean. Cute & cosy summerhouse which the teenagers loved.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a brilliant location. Village shop and pub on doorstep and amazing beach and cafe/design shop, 10 mins walk away. The outside space, summerhouse and BBQ were great, ideal for a family break and exploring this fantastic area! Would recommend.

Lovely well wquipped house.We only gave 4 stars for comfort as the bed could do with a topper on as not very comfortable and lack of wardrobe space for two people. We gave 4 stars for value for money it stated enclosed garden but we could not let the dogs off the lead due to at least three big gaps in the hedge which was very disappointing. On the Read morepositive side we had a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated. A very enjoyable stay despite the garden situation. Hide

A lovely cottage. With lots of space, good sized rooms. The living room is ideal for chilling out in the evening. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The washing machine and tumble dryer were a godsend. The enclosed garden was ideal with children and a dog they could run around outside and not have to worry about the road traffic. The beach Read moreis a short walk no more than 10 minutes which is very picturesque. There is a small post office opposite if you run out of tea bags unexpectedly! Hide

Cottage was really nice - its location was on a main road although pretty quiet; the beach near Tudweiliog is really nice, but limited in facilities; you can drive to it or walk; local pub had really good food for the money
