At this delightful cottage, four dogs are welcome, and if your pack is bigger than that, don’t worry: more four-legged friends are welcome by arrangement. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, the property is a lovely rural retreat for a family or couples. Situated in the hamlet of Llidiad-Nenog, beside the Brechfa forest, you’re perfectly placed for exploring the trails. Your hound will be in doggy heaven, bounding around the great outdoors before returning to curl up in front of the wood burner.

Quite peacefully remote beautiful location ideal for a recharge before returning to the rat race. Barn was well equipped and loverly. Would recommend to all very relaxing.

The Barn is very remote and a car is essential, although we enjoyed several lovely walks in Brechfa Forest without using the car. The roads are very narrow. We found a wonderful pub a few miles away called The Black Lion in Abergorlech and enjoyed some wonderful meals there. Spent a lovely week at the barn chilling and recharging our batteries. The barn is beautiful with spectacular views all around. We did some lovely walks as recommended by the guide provided, although they were slightly longer than it said. What can we say except wow! We had the most relaxing week here, deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside, listening to the birds and relishing the peace and quiet. This was much needed as we live in a very busy city. The cottage had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The Barn is a home from home accommodation. Very comfortable, our dogs loved the under floor heating after a long day walking through the forest and so did we to be honest. The barn truly was a brilliant place to stay. Completely dog friendly but didnt have the appearance of somewhere that has a lot of furry visitors. The cottage was very nice. The host was very welcoming and helpful. There are few places where you can take 7 dogs especially with a lovely paddock where they can run free. The scenery was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most certainly return.

The place is quite remote down country lanes and has lovely views across country fields, but you can get a supermarket delivery to the door (which we did). 3 friends and 3 labradors, what a fantastic peaceful stay we had. The location was perfect, in the middle of nowhere. Lots of forest walks to be had and quaint welsh villages. Even managed to get a Chinese takeout only 20 minutes drive away. The beds were very comfortable, great bed linen too. Everything we wanted was there. Loved it.

Beautiful barn conversion with a comprehensive range of equipment. Very cosy and the beds are super comfortable. Our dogs loved it as much as we did and really appreciated the wood burner and the paddock where they could run free. The location is so quiet and peaceful.
